When you mean Pre-Collins era do you mean the first two albums From Genesis to Revelation and Trespass and nothing from Nursery Cryme forward (I guess you haven't heard Duke nor Abacab nor The Mama Album, Genesis changed because of Punk heisting the music scent in the UK). Also do you like either the Roger Waters led Floyd or David Gilmour era Floyd. Some hated PF after Roger quit. Roger was a great lyricist but his solo stuff was scattershot after he left the band.
